Sensus process of market introduction

Sensus supports the business development from the pre-seed to the seed phase and the start up phase. When the product reaches the start up phase the technology will be transferred to the industry and Sensus will follo w an exit scenario.

Business development at Sensus follows different stages:

the pre-seed phase In this phase the feasibility of the technology has been proven in the laboratory. The technology and processes have to be standardized resulting into a prototype product. Through field tests first information is obtained on the real life product performance. 
the seed phase On the basis of field test results the prototype has to be further developed into a pre-commercial product. Besides production capacity will be established that is sufficient to fulfill the demand of the (semi-) commercial product for the initial market. Through demonstration projects the technical and commercial value of the semi-commercial product is proven.
start up phase Last modifications on the pre-commercial product have resulted in a commercial product that will be launched to the market. The regular production has commenced and first turn over is made.
growth phase The product has been well positioned into the market and sales is expanding rapidly. New investments in production capacity is needed to
fulfill the fast growing market volumes.
